Internship
An internship of no less than 150 hours of massage and administration is required to complete the entire program. A separate internship policies and procedures will be given to each student as they complete their basic massage segment. - Minimum grade point average of 70 percent.
- Completion of all class requirements (such as homework, quizzes, mid-term/final exams, make-up classes, internship etc.) as well as completion of the appropriate number of credits / hours for the diploma awarded.
- All financial, academic and other obligations to the school must be taken care of before a diploma or transcript will be issued.
Academic Policies
Upon completion of this course of study, it is our goal that the student will be trained to enter the field of Massage Therapy in an entry level position, and be prepared to pass all the licensing requirements to become a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of New Mexico. The entire 35 credit hour course (720 contact hours) can be completed in 8.5 months for the morning or afternoon courses, and 10.5 months for the evening course. However, students are allowed up to 12 months to complete the day and afternoon courses, and 15 months for the evening course.
