Integrative NeuroMuscular Therapy (INMT) is a comprehensive program of soft tissue manipulation techniques that balance the central nervous system with the structure and form of the musculoskeletal system. INMT facilitates homeostasis between the nervous and musculoskeletal systems by enhancing the functions of the joints and muscles and the biomechanics of the body. It also speeds healing by facilitating the release of the body’s natural painkillers, known as endorphins.
The three weekend modules of the INMT certification program can be taken separately and in any sequence. Candidates who complete all three workshops are eligible to take the Integrative NeuroMuscular Therapy Certification Exam.
In Module Three, learn about the connection between headaches, eye, ear and jaw pain, which is well established. You will also learn how to effectively and comprehensively treat all of these areas through the application of craniosacral therapy, a TMD intra-oral glove technique, and a Q-tip procedure to relieve eye strain.
Learn how to successfully apply craniosacral therapy by understanding the structure and form of the system as well as the musculature surrounding the cranium, jaw and eye. Included is an in-depth study of the architecture and musculature of the temporomandibular joint as well as an exploration of the etiologies of TMD and its connection to headaches, anxiety and depression.
